•  Provide educational seminars focusing on the care and selection of breeding stock and slaughter animals, and conduct educational clinics on fitting and showing market wethers and production stock.

• Provide fun and productive activities to allow junior members to interact with other kids with like interests

• Collect record and preserve the records of show goat competition from one year to the next among members.

• Award the top individual exhibitors of the show goats throughout the course of one year based on the total number of points accumulated during that year.

• Encourage leadership skills in allowing members to participate in the management of the Missouri Junior Boer Goat Association.

• Provide junior members with the opportunity to contribute articles to Boergoats.com and the MJBGA web site.
